National Birds of Prey Trust
The National Birds of Prey Trust is a charitable organisation, founded in 2001 by Jemima Parry-Jones MBE.
It promotes the conservation, protection and preservation of all species of raptors, through education, training, research and rehabilitation programmes.
The Trust has given significant financial support to the work on the Indian Vulture Crisis. The numbers of four species of vultures have fallen so quickly in such a short space of time that extinction is a real possibility and the establishment of effective captive breeding programmes in India and Pakistan is a race against time.

Projects include research on the physiology, behaviour and habitat of raptors in the wild. Since they are top predators, they are a sensitive indicator of the health of an environment and the information gathered during these forays is invaluable to the conservation of wildlife. Funds provided by the NBPT have been used variously to buy equipment and to support workers in the field.
Feedback is provided by researchers and the Trustees are gratified to see progress in many areas.
The Trust maintains a website on which information about past and current projects can be followed.
